First, There's are no books or ways to be creative, you can't just be creative when you want to, it's a bit more difficult than this. You can't buy creativity pills online and if you did before, Trust me, you need a therapist right away!

before we keep going and continue our pep talk we should first understand what creativity is? and then we should understand how to: think creative and have super creative thinking skills.

Creativity is an idea, new, different and somehow dangerous. Creativity is a risk, removing the regular safe borders and get right to the un-stable dangerous side of the game. and it's not always stable!

Thinking outside the box, and creativity became so hard lately and especially for marketers and managers themselves. Sometimes people like silly things (that's true).  and sometimes they don't understand creative ideas!

The problem is there are no books to tell you how to be creative to even how creative thinking skills gained, they just tell you things about how to think differently and tell you stories included steve jobs and apple company, Others say stories about BMW and Mercedes campaigns and the truth is, We do the same, but we believe that creativity is much more than stories.

What does it mean? there's a small short story we can share together to understand what I mean, There was an old Indian story called the Blind men and the elephant:

There was a group of blind men heard about a strange animal, Was called an elephant, had been brought to the town they're living in, but none of them were aware of its shape or it's form. Out of curiosity, they said: "We have to inspect and know it by touch, of which we are capable". So, they sought it out, and when they just found it they groped about it.

In the case of the first person touched the elephant, whose hand landed on the trunk, said "This being is like a thick snake". For another one whose hand reached the elephat's ear, it seemed like a kind of a fan. As for another person, whose hand was upon its leg, said, the elephant is a pillar like a tree-trunk. The blind man who placed his hand upon its side said the elephant, "it's like a wall". Another who felt its tail, described it as a rope. The last felt its tusk, stating the elephant is that which is hard, smooth and like a spear.

The truth is, all those blind people described a part of the elephant, not the whole elephant but wait a minute, They made something you've never noticed before, that is the elephant has all the features they've described!

Sometimes the creativity is not viewing the thing like you usually do, Sometimes you should see a part of it to get more creative ideas!

How to get creative thinking skills

When you're looking for gaining creative thinking skills you should understand that creativity is the opposite of thinking like normal people, It's the opposite of getting normal ideas, and also the opposite of living a normal life.

All of the creative people you can read about had a strange life form, strange habits, and thoughts sometimes. You can't just be like others, think like others, and act like others and then you wait for creative things to happens to you.

and that's the problem with creative thinking skills. You should think like the way you want to think, not the way people force you to!
